Discover the importance of sound in our lives at the Science Centre Singapore, with its newest permanent showcase entitled the Science of Sound.
Built to interest both children and adults, the exhibition delves into the mechanics and wonders of this daily phenomenon. Featuring creative exhibits and a wide range of topics, visitors are taken through a series of discoveries through the various aspects of sound. The Echo Tube, for example, de-mystifies the strange sound of an echo, and the Hot Air Organ demonstrates how music can be formed with the movement of air through tubes of different lengths.
Access to other exhibitions such as The Mind’s Eye and Discovery Zone are also included under the same ticket*, priced at S$6 for adults, S$3 for children (3-16 years old) and S$3.60 for senior citizens (55 years and above).
Opening hours of the centre are from 10am to 6pm daily.
*Does not include admission to the Omni-Theatre and the ongoing BODY WORLDS Exhibition.
