Celebrating Tropical Horticulture & Floral Artistry: Singapore Garden Festival

Be enchanted by some of the world’s best tropical horticulture and floral artistry at the seventh edition of the biennial Singapore Garden Festival (SGF).

The first garden show to showcase creations from the world’s top award-winning garden and floral designers under one roof, the Festival presents a visual fiesta of exquisite exhibits and new offerings, created by some 30 internationally acclaimed garden and floral designers.

HIGHLIGHTS

13 Fantasy & Landscape Show Gardens
Get up close to impressive creations by top award-winning gardening luminaries from Australia, China, France, Ireland, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, South Africa, UK and US.


Malaysian horticulturist Inch Lim won the Gold and Best of Show in the Landscape Gardens category at SGF 2016 for "The Treasure Box", which features rice plants cocooned behind 5m-high walls, with a shallow stream running through it



Italian landscape designer Stefano Passerotti won the Gold and Best of Show prizes in the Fantasy Gardens category with "Nature's Resolution" at SGF 2016


13 Floral Windows To The World
Admire colourful cut-flower displays and floral masterpieces with stunning set design and lighting by master floral artists from Austria, Azerbaijan, Canada, Czech Republic, France, Japan, Romania, Singapore, South Korea and Spain.


American designers Natasha Lisitsa and Daniel Schultz took Gold and Best of Show at SGF 2016 with "Stretching Time", which features a green weave suspended between two walls


8 Balcony Gardens
Check out the colourful and inspirational displays for small home and apartment owners.


Singaporean Andy Eng won the Gold and Best of Show prizes in the Balcony Gardens category with "Transcending Boundaries" at SGF 2016


Orchid Extravaganza @ Flower Dome
Learn about the rich and diverse heritage of orchids. Orchids are a significant part of Singapore’s heritage and this year’s orchid display is conceptualised by award-winning Singaporean filmmaker Royston Tan.



Secret Garden Of Edibles
Enjoy a sensory experience with fruits and vegetables from temperate climates. Expect to see colourful edibles, fragrant plants and more.

Marketplace
Shop for plants, gardening and landscape products and services, as well as arts and crafts at this one-stop marketplace which houses over 100 retailers. Be entertained by local musicians and enjoy the diverse culinary delights on offer.
