Singapore Zoo’s New Multimedia Night Walk: Rainforest Lumina
Want to know what goes on in a tropical rainforest at night? To find out, go on a magical and interactive journey through the newly opened Rainforest Lumina, Southeast Asia’s first illuminated multimedia night walk, at the Singapore Zoo.
Created by multimedia entertainment studio Moment Factory, Rainforest Lumina covers a one-kilometre stretch within the Singapore Zoo’s tropical rainforest and features lighting, sound and special effects to create a sensory feast for visitors.
Themed “We are one”, Rainforest Lumina aims to encourage everyone to play a part in preserving nature and protecting wildlife as humans, animals and nature are interconnected.
There are 11 different zones to check out and a quirky group called Creature Crew to meet. The Creature Crew, comprising an orangutan, flying fox, sloth, chameleon, Asian small-clawed otter, pangolin, hornbill and tiger cub, will demonstrate how they band together in difficult times to overcome all challenges and protect the jungle.
Look out also for four interactive zones – Sing Like an Animal, Call of the Wild, Play Like an Animal and Wall of Fame – where you can sing, play and take photos with the Creature Crew.
