Fun Glide Around Sentosa

August 22, 2018

One of the best and eco-friendly ways to breeze through the sun-kissed beaches of Sentosa Island without breaking a sweat is by riding on a Segway Personal Transporter (Segway PT), a two-wheel, self-balancing electric vehicle.

Riding on the Segway PT is easy and fun, and can be enjoyed by both adults and children who are at least 105cm tall. To move the Segway PT forward, just lean forwards, and to move backwards, shift your weight backwards. Gyroscopic sensors and fluid-based levelling sensors are used to detect the shifting of weight. To turn, just shift the handlebar to the right or left.

Helmets, elbow guards and knee guards are provided for all rides.
